jacob has discovered a new...ahum...body part.
as he's preparing to enter the shower yesterday, he bends down and says, "look, momma. belly button."
it wasn't his belly button.
i said, "no, baby. that's your...pee pee."
proudly, he stands and says, "look, momma. that's my pee pee."
the joys of boys.

that is so cute. and the adventure continues.
so hilarious! can't wait for the next thing outta his mouth. he's cracking me up these days!
THe joys of boys is right! And I am about to have two! It never stops with all the silly things that come out of their mouths, huh?
It's just beginning.....boys are so much fun....sometimes i think more fun than girls
Just wait until the dreaded "you know what" happens - the first time J. noticed his pee-pee was doing something "different" we were in the middle of hobby lobby. My advice: know in advance exactly how to explain that one. Otherwise, he will be traumatized...
It's also lots of fun when your kids notice each others pee-pees. We used to be somewhat of a nudist colony around our house (uh, with the kids, I mean), but not anymore.
And jaronxaveryxano, what do you mean, "something different"? =)
My little girl is constantly pointing out how much she likes "you body". It is so funny and wierd. I always try and change the subject.
I guess you learn something new everyday. I really did not know that little boys have "something different" happening before puberity.
I love all this blogging. You guys just crack me up! Stinkin' hilarious. I need so badly to go to bed but I keep checking everyone's blogs to see if by some miracle one of you is posting at 12:30 am... no one is. Pooh.
Wow...I can't even find the words to speak I'm laughing so hard.
