I'm admitting it.

I'm totally jealous of so many of my friends who currently have the time to do things like blog, go to the pool, get a tan, shop, or just plain hang out. The only way I'm able to post this right now is because I'm holding baby girl while she drifts off to sleep with her bottle in her mouth. (Don't judge me. I need my sanity.) And this amazing invention called the iPhone is small enough for me to hold and type with one hand. It's the only way I've stayed connected to the outside world.

For those who know me, you know I don't sit well. I'm definitely an on-the-go girl. I even have a complex about going to the movie theater because I know I'm going to be stuck in one place for two hours. Weird, I know.

And I know this phase will pass. It will. I'm doing my best not to rush it.

On a side note, I'm sure none of this is even flowing together because since I've began this post I've been interrupted with, "I want to look at the book!" "Jacob got those out!" "Where's my blanket?!" "Go to your room!" "Waaaaaaaaahhhhhh!" "Stop!" "Don't!" "Waaaaaaahhhhhhh!" And of course, a now eyes-wide-open baby girl.

And the cycle starts all over again.

Stay tuned for the next episode of "Crystal Goes Insane".

Who are these friends that have time to do those things? Oh, friends without babies. I, too, forgot how time consuming babies can be, but I'm really trying to enjoy it b/c this is the last one. I can't even leave a little comment without being interrupted.

Girl, I totally feel you and I only have ONE baby. I'm not good at sitting still, either, which is why I am continually looking for a job to go back to. I catch a lot of grief for wanting to work, but every mama is different, ya know? I hate that people judge others' lifestyles. Anyway, maybe you could schedule some mama time soon. Take the kiddos to a once-a-week MDO program or something. Get a babysitter. Or a pedicure. Please dont go insane. But if you do, know you're not the only one ;)

I always felt like that when mine were young too! I was always looking into some new job, or hobby to do. Even though I knew I didn't want to leave the kids. As you know though, it goes by so fast.

I don't like going to movies either! Two hours of my life - arghhhh!!! John doesn't get it.

I was thinking maybe it was time for another baby but after reading your post I'm rethinking! ;)

I understand! Do whatever you can to keep your sanity! Just know your not alone. So many of us moms out there who's freedom is not the same, who wish we could just run to the mall when we want without strollers and try on a lot of clothes and then sit in our rooms and listen to music like we were in high school. (I'm getting carried away). Anyways we know our lives would not be as rich without them. But in the meantime, it's ok to breath and let them have that bottle.
